Archer here — Keeper of the Ledger and enemy of boring tutorials. In the next couple of minutes, I’ll show you Pennyworth Auctions on BidHarbor without missing the photographs that actually matter.

First, bookmark www.pennyworthauctions.com. It goes straight to Pennyworth’s auction house on BidHarbor — no wandering through the front hall. Browsing is free; sign in or register only when you are ready to bid.

Open the current auction. Search, filter, sort, and watch your activity. See something interesting? Dock It saves the lot for later. Very civilized.

Now for the trap. Stock plus Actual, one of three, is not decorative confetti. It means you have seen one photograph and neglected two. Tap the photo, title, or View Description and Full Details. Never judge a lot from the card alone. That is how surprises acquire shipping labels.

Inside the listing, click every thumbnail. A Stock Image is the manufacturer’s glamour portrait. A Warehouse Photo shows the item as it sits — without flattering lighting or an expensive publicist. Those extra photographs reveal the real box, labels, wear, and useful details.

Read the condition and disclosure. The item may be New while the retail box has Visible Wear. Both can be true; boxes lead complicated lives. Check the description, quantity, model, accessories, pickup deadline, and photographs. If something is unclear, Ask a Question. Mystery is delightful in novels, less so at pickup.

Ready? Bid raises one increment. Your Max is your private ceiling. BidHarbor does not leap straight there; it bids only as much as needed.

Before the victory dance, add the fifteen-percent buyer’s premium and Texas sales tax. Your card is charged automatically if you win. A bid in the final five minutes resets that lot to five minutes. That is anti-snipe protection, not the website having a nervous breakdown.

Use My Activity during the auction and My Desk anytime for bids, outbids, saved lots, wins, invoices, and pickup. If you win, review the invoice and collect in Buda within three business days.

Archer’s rule: bookmark Pennyworth, open the listing, click every photograph, read the condition, and set an honest maximum. I’ll mind the ledger. You avoid bidding like a raccoon with a credit card.
